Bachelor of Social Work

2011 – 2013

Hon. Bachelor of Science

2003 – 2008

I began my education at the University of Toronto where I undertook studies in Computer Science with a specialization in Human Computer Interaction. In doing so, I developed an interest in understanding people as they interact with various computing platforms. This, in turn, led me to becoming interested in trying to understand people and human behaviour more generally. To further this interest, I completed a major in Psychology before graduating in 2008.

A few years later, I found myself wanting to work more directly with people and so I completed a two-year Bachelor of Social Work through Dalhousie University's distance education program where I graduated "With Distinction" and was on the Dean's List. Upon completion of the BSW, I entered the Master of Social Work program at Ryerson University where I spent most of my time studying mental health culminating in a research project on recovery and resilience in the mental health sector.
